Protect your privacy when making mobile payments

The Consumer Federation of America has released new tips on how to protect your privacy and security when making mobile payments.

If you use a mobile device to pay for purchases then you should check out the Consumer Federation of America (CFA’s) new tips on protecting your privacy and security when making mobile payments.

While mobile payments can be convenient they can also come with certain risks. It’s important to know what type of personal information mobile apps collect when you use them to make a payment and what they do with that information. Check out CFA’s guide to help ensure that your data is safe and secure on your phone and to be aware of malware and other scams that could lead to identity theft and monetary loss. CFA’s mobile payment guide also provides advice on how to resolve  mobile payment disputes.
